The Eye Bank Association of America offers the opportunity to attain Certified Eye Banker (CEB) or Certified Eye Banker-Technical (CEBT) status through an electronic certification examination. In addition, a CEBT candidate must successfully demonstrate proficiency in a technical procedure, which must be witnessed and verified by the candidate’s Medical Director and Technical Trainer. Candidates for the CEB certification do not have to perform any procedures.
